Getting to the Masseria

Here is some general information on how to best arrive to Masseria Torre di Albidona, Cosenza.
The 3 closest airports are stated below and while both Rome and Naples are the most connected to the rest of the world, the Lamezia Terme airport and Bari International are the closest to our venue.
If you do arrive at Lamezia Terme airport or Bari international it is best to rent a car as this area of Southern Italy is not well connected by public transport.

Guests travelling from Canada should consider the direct Air Transat flight from Toronto to Lamezia on Wednesday, June 10th.
For those who take the Air Transat flight and are not renting a car, we can arrange a group pick up from Lamezia Terme on Thursday if numbers warrant. If there are enough travailing in on the Friday we can also arrange a shuttle from Lamezia Terme.

Bari International Airport: 169 km, 2 hours by car.
Naples International Airport: 295 km, 3 hours and 20 minutes by car.

Airports
Please be aware that if you are driving from Rome or Naples that there are tolls, you have to go through the “Biglietto” lane and get a ticket to pay upon exit. When exiting we would recommend using the "Carte" lanes instead of the “Contanti” lanes as they are the slowest.
The most convenient choice will be to rent a car, however if you do not wish to rent, the train is also an option. The closest train station to the venue is the Trebisacce Train Station/Bus Stop. Trains from Rome and Naples have a change over at Lamezia Terme Centrale.
We will be able to arrange a group pick up on the Thursday or Friday from the Trebisacce train station, if numbers warrant.
Tickets for the trains can either be purchased online (available six months in advance) or directly at the train stations in Rome or Naples. The two best train companies are:

Rome: approx. 8 hours
Once you land at Rome you will have to take the Leonardo Express which connects the airport to the main train station in Rome, Termini.
